Environmental labeling

Legislative Decree No. 116 of September 3, 2020, and Law 15/2022 require, as of January 1, 2023, that all packaging used be properly labeled according to UNI technical standards and European Union Commission determinations.
The goal is to facilitate the collection, reuse, recovery and recycling and to provide consumers with information on the final destinations of packaging.

The Ministry of Ecological Transition has published Guidelines for Environmental Labeling, which specify that for neutral packaging the labeling requirement can also be met through media outside the packaging, such as data sheets, transport documents or digital media.
